Ok. Let's start by taking this out of the way that I know there are people with doubt / curiosity. Many people are "afraid" of this book, because the author said that it is at the same level of "A Thousand Boy Kisses". But the comparison is just to prepare you, so you keep the handkerchiefs close to you.
But the comparation stop there.
I am an easy crier and I cried the whole Poppy and Rune book - much more than this new book - but A WISH FOR US makes a bigger impact. So ...more
Man, if this thing is being compared to A Thousand Boy Kisses, which I actually LOATHED, I might take a hard pass on this one. Decisions, decisions....
HERE is my review on that for anyone interested. Be warned that it is a spoiler fest though.
Not trying to discourage anyone here, just "thinking aloud" to myself, so to speak...

This book was so good, I absolutely loved it. I might have cried some nasty ugly tears for what it seemed like an eternity but they were worth it. It hurts so damn good. All the feels, definitely adding to one of my favorite reads of the year. Told from dual point of view we see both sides sad, happy and devastating stories. Definitely recommend to readers looking for a very emotional book to read.
This was a BR with War!

A wish for me, for you, for us.
I really love this author and I have read many of her books. The "Hades Hangmen" is one of my favorite series. This book is nothing like those books though. You see, one of the reasons I love her writing/books so much, is because she doesn't stick to just one type of genre. You never know what you are gonna get, but so far I have loved them all !!
If there is one thing I would like to say about this book, it's that it has broken me... I advice everyone to read thi ...more
