Lord Ravenscar's Inconvenient Betrothal (Wild Lords and Innocent Ladies #2) Reviews
Another beautiful read from Lady Lara, absolutely loved this book has a lots of everything we love from Laras books, romance a lil adventure, a love that needs to be won.
I won't give spoilers but I will say those who love regency romance who haven't read Laras books before will love it as much as those who have had the privilege of reading the books written to date. Lara definitely does not disappoint I defy anyone to not love this who loves romance especially regency.

Lily Wallace is off her beloved island and in England to find a suitable match with her inheritance. She runs into Alan Rothwell, Marquess of Ravenscar who wants to buy her property she has just inherited. She refuses. Fate would have them cross paths again and they are left alone for a couple of days while Rothwell is down with a fever. Convinced that she has been compromised he declares them betrothed. If only it were that simple she gives him a run for his money.

I do love historical fiction and books set in this period are some of my favourite!
This is a really well written book that is easy to read and that flows very well. The characters are great and I loved their interaction. Everything about this book works from the cover to the ending, it is an excellent book and a brilliant regency romance full of drama, family issues, passion and romance - superb!

Very enjoyable, charming historical romance!
Alan Rothwell returns to a place he vowed never to return…anywhere near his family. He does have a purpose to buy a property, but there is a problem. The man he was supposed to buy it from passed away. Now, he must deal with his heir. To his surprise, it’s not a man but a beautiful, fiery woman…Lily Wallace. She refuses…something he isn’t used to. Most women either run away from him or towards him. She does neither, standing her ground. These two are o ...more
Miniseries: Wild Lords and Innocent Ladies
Taking the book as a whole, it was enjoyable but I didn't like the verbal sparring and intense looks exchanged throughout most of the story. This made it a bit tedious and the story dragged because of it. Also the model on the cover didn't do him justice. He was much more macho in the story.
Can I give more than five stars??
This is book two in was has fast become one of my favourite series; The Wild Lords and Innocent Ladies Series, this series is just amazing I have been hooked by it since reading book one; Lord Hunter’s Cinderella Heiress which grabbed my attention. The three lords Hunter, Ravenscar and Stanton are three of the most eye-catchingly sexy and golden hearted men you will ever meet, and I have been looking forward to reading Raven’s story since meeting him in the prev ...more
