Murder in Paradise Reviews
I'm surprised James Patterson would allow his name be associated with this book. I'm not a big fan of his Bookshot short stories and this book was worse than any of them.
Very book boo it has 3 short stories in it. There are all different authors. The stories are all great books. I highly recommend this book.
While James Patterson is my favourite author, I find it difficult to enjoy these 3 mini books in one. Not enough time to fully develop a character or the plot line which he does so well with his regular books. But it was still an easy “by the pool” read
Murder in paradise
3 stories in one. All good but not as spellbounding as his others. Took awhile to get into the plot. You are still the best, James Patterson!!!!
Worth reading the stories are good. Some stories have you questioning your beliefs.
I liked the first story. The second story was well done, but I didn't like the ending.
The first one was ok (there are three stories in this book) the second one was stupid and the third one got me to read about 25 pages... and decided I've read enough. For murder/mystery you need so much more development in plot and characters that this just fell flat. If I had realized BEFORE I got it from the library that it was three stories in one book, I would have passed.
A collection of 3 short stories involving the Lawyer Lifeguard, The Doctor's Plot, and The Shut In.
The first deals with a bomb explosion, concussion, a mistress, and a crime family with clients that are quite the characters.
The second deals with a newly hired med examiner uncovers a series of murders .
The latter involves a woman allergic to the sun unable to go outside so she relies heavily upon drones.
I wanted so much to enjoy these but the writing just wasn't there, the characters weren't enti ...more
