Where dreams go to die... Starring in a cult TV show was a blessing for Marnie Davante, especially now that her former fame could support her future dream of starting a childrens theater. So shell work the convention circuit. But then a costar is brazenly murdered in front of her. With a killer who vanishes into thin air with seemingly inhuman skill, and strange events plaguing Marnie, she feels she cant even trust her own senses. Although his dear departed parents were famous actors, PI Bryan McFadden is about as far from Hollywood as you can get. The former military man is reluctant to get involved in such a bizarre case, but it quickly becomes obvious that Marnie is in grave danger, and he is compelled to help. Its unclear if the killer is an obsessed fan or something more sinister. Could the shows cast be cursed? How can Bryan keep Marnie safe when it becomes apparent theres a force determined to make this her final curtain call?...

Fade to Black (Krewe of Hunters #24) Reviews
Yay! Received this at BookExpo and had it signed. Enjoyed it enormously!
Thank goodness! I believe I need to stick to Krewe of Hunters books because I have had disappointment with some of the other series by Heather Graham even though I liked them in the beginning. The Krewe has always been good and this book is no exception. I really like the character Bryan McFadden and the idea that his brothers will have books, too. Marnie is a little different. She seemed really nice at first but turned into a flat-out witch when Bryan turned up and was trying to help. I underst ...more
Another Great Story
She's done it again. Heather Graham is a superior story teller and mystery writer. Just love here Krewe of Hunter's books. Just wish I could read them a little slower instead of not being able to put them down. Highly recommend anyone to read this book.

This book takes place in Hollywood at a Comic Com and the stars of a television show that was no longer on t.v. The show's star was Marnie Davante who was ready to go on with her life by starting a theater for children if she could get the funding but when the lady who had played her mother on the show was murdered right in front of her, everything changed. PI Bryan McFadden had been convinced to go to L.A. and help Marnie by his mother who only he and his two brothers could see since she and th ...more
You can never go wrong when you pick up a Krewe of Hunters book...
Absolutely loved it....
The cast members were dying one at a time...
Well written, with delicious twists and turns. The murderer was getting more devious. And dead!y. Could Maggie escape his net?
