Not Quite Crazy (Not Quite #6) Reviews
I just love the Not Quite series, it’s always so entertaining and it just grabs your attention. Rachel might not be used to the New York weather but being a go getter Rachel makes the most of it until she almost ends up in a ditch like Jason. They might have met under usual circumstances but the friendship and feelings that start to develop are real and sweet. Rachel might not have wanted to start anything with Jason with him being her boss but when you meet your other half those things don’t ma ...more
A delightful romance. This is my first Catherine Bybee novel and I would like to check out the rest of this series.
Not Quite Crazy has a delightful cast of characters and the story had a nice flow.
Rachel Price recently uprooted her life from California to a new job in New York City. She is raising her best friend’s 15-year-old son after losing his mother to cancer. Emily had no family who would step up and Rachel vowed to raise Emily’s son, Owen, as her own. The only problem is Owen’s paternal g ...more
For the final chapter in the NOT QUITE series, Bybee has taken us to Connecticut and NY by way of California.
When Rachel Price becomes the guardian to her best friend’s teenaged son after his mother’s death, to keep the peace with the boy’s paternal grandparents, she relocates to NY and a new job.
One snowy night traveling home, a car goes off the road and Rachel stops to help the driver. Sparks ignite between the two immediately. After a series of flirty encounters Rachel discovers her handsome ...more
Having read all of the books in this series, I'm sad to see this series end! Each book featuring the Fairchild brothers can be read on their own. However, the books are so much better read in order as each wife joins in the matchmaking pursuits of the remaining Fairchild siblings. Jason might be the oldest of the Fairchild siblings but he is the last one to fall in love. However, once he sees Rachel he knows she is the one. Rachel is enjoying flirting with Jason until she discovers he is actuall ...more
This book was such a breath of fresh air. A Contemporary Romance in which the characters act like adults throughout – I’d forgotten such a thing was possible! I liked both Rachel and Jason, I loved Rachel’s recently-adopted son Owen, I particularly loved the lack of unnecessary drama and found the whole thing thoroughly enjoyable.
Jason is so normal. He’s a billionaire who can helicopter to work if he needs to, but is also capable of driving his car into a ditch in the snow and not unfairly blami ...more
Loved this one! Very sweet story!
Loved loved loved this story by Catherine Bybee!!!
It was a light and beautiful love story that takes a sneaky approach to love and hands it to you gently and with care. This story blossoms and bloomed and I really felt like a was a spectator to the characters lives. And I really loved that. Feeling like they are REAL people.
No arrogant asshole hero here. All gentleman with no OW BS! His honesty and devotion was beautiful. Jason won my heart when he befriended the heroine's stepson without hesita ...more
I loved this! Rachel and Jason made a great couple! Kudos to the author for writing a successful, attractive and smart hero that isn't a manwhore! It is possible for a man to be rich, sexy and fly his own helicopter without subjecting himself to diseases by having sex with any woman that looks at him! I really enjoyed this and was sad when I finished it!
