For me this book had a different pace than the other books in The Shades of Death series. Also while Nick & Bobbi made a brief appearance, this book featured Tony LeDoux.

This Special Agent paid a very high price for his obsession with a serial killer, and because of it he lost so very much.

As usual, great plot with twists I never saw coming. I wasn't to sure about Jo but by the end I was all in and cheering for her as well as Tony.

I received a free ARC through Goodreads.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book of this series immensely, so I was super excited to pick up this book in the series (not necessary to read the previous books to understand what is going on). While this book isn't as intense and super creepy like the first book I read, it is still very intense and gripping. Do not underestimate the author in how she brings the villains to life and how you really feel for the main characters who always gets the raw en

However, he is called back into action when his niece is kidnapped from her college campus in Milledgeville, Georgia and his sister Angie calls him for his help. This is a non-stop thriller about some really ruthless characters who have take ...more
