Five Star Series! *****
Erica Stevens nailed it with her The Fire and Ice Series! Julian and Quinn's journey keep me riveted and drawn in threw out it all. I couldn't put them down! I read the three book series in three days. Now I'm depressed its over. I realy hope Erica finds a way to continue Quinn and Julian's journey, maybe a spin off about their trials of the new leadership they've started. Thank you Erica Stevens for three more incredible books, you are an extremely talented writer! keep i ...more
I love this book! I have read so very many books about vampires, and most of those have a rather predictable type of vampire. The vampires in this book have unique abilities I've never seen in any other books. I really loved the underlying story (Hunters, Guardians, Elders and The Commission). I really enjoyed Quinn and her backstory and secret, and the way she interacted with Julian and his group. I have already purchased the next book in the series and can't wait to finish it and see wh ...more

Julian (600year old vampire) and his crew of hunters and guardians , Chris and Melissa (hunters ),Zack, Luther and Leo come into a small town to rest where at a bar they find a young female vampire Quinn, who has way more power than she should have, she is someone they must protect she is to important to let vampires who are hunting for her have her .Julian and Quinn must learn to trust and work out their feelings for each other to survive. Can they do it?
Written under my other pen name of Erica Stevens this is the first book in The Fire & Ice Series. It is a spinoff of my Kindred Series, but can be read as a standalone series and is more mature than The Kindred Series. Recommended for 17+
Erica Stevens has done it again. This is a great start to Julian's story. I initially didn't like him in the Kindred series, but he grew on me. I love his interactions with Quinn. She definitely puts him in his place a few times. I also liked how his character has evolved from the bad boy he used to be. He made me melt during a couple of spots in the story. As soon as you pick it up you will not be able to put it down. Definitely a must read this summer.
So I've had my eye on this gem for a while, and when the price dropped to FREE I picked it up! So glad I did. (It still is FREE in anticipation for the second book)
This is a spin-off series from Erica Steven's Kindred books. I have not read the Kindred series (mainly because it's classified as YA) and didn't feel like I needed to in order to enjoy this series. There are some things that are unclear about Julian's past but are cleared up in the second half of the book.

I can't begin to describe how much I love Erica Stevens books she is definitely my Favourite Author. This book does not disappoint. Loved Julian in the Kindred series and Love him even more now. Love the fact that we catch up with characters from Kindred series. Quinn is a great new introduction to Julian's life. Can't wait for book 2 in this series. I recommend this book to all.
This book was everything I thought it would be plus more. I already loved Julian from Erica's other series The Kindred Series and was super excited when I found out he was getting his own story! I liked getting to see a different side of him and I loved how much of a smartass he was. Quinn was an awesome match for Julian she was very strong willed and had a heart breaking back story. I loved that she stood on her own and didn't need to be saved like other lead women in some books. The banter bet ...more
