Very well written! A lot of adventure, many plot turns, tension between characters, romance, and inspirational. Loved this book!

Not horrible, few typos, but gah, the characters and motivations were annoying and two-dimensional, the "hero" was an idiot (especially when he brought the lunatic bitch home and was oblivious to her machinations), and through it all, the religion crap kept escalating to the point of obnoxiousness. Very good

Interesting story, fast pace, characters believable, great introduction of God in the story, not religion. Tense moments, a understanding of faith building for ones self.

  • Marguerite Gray

Hard to resist a novel taking place in 1398 England--the land of knights, swords, and damsels. Add the deceit, murder, enemies, and fire, this novel excelled in drama, love, and forgiveness. Brithwin and Royce appear to be denied a chance at happiness.
