Saga, Vol. 3 (Saga #3) Reviews
Three stars might seem a bit harsh for one of the best adult comics published today, but it reflects my disappointment with how little actual content there was in this third story arc. There simply isn't enough meat on the bare bones of the adventure to justify calling it space opera or even epic. It feels more like a resume, a synopsis of the actual events. I finished it all in a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon, and now I have to wait until the end of the year for the next story arc to be ...more
This just keeps getting better and better. So addicted.
This series just keeps getting better it's like I can't NOT rate it a 5
(Something I didn't say before tho ESP if you are younger this series has some explicit content so know that going in!)
First read in April 2014
Reread in September 2015
Third read in January 2018
I found myself wanting to skim read the bits with the journalists.. for some reason I found them so boring, but other than that and the lacking of action that the first two volumes had, I loved it!
Buddy reading this entire series with my favorite Princess Celeste
I'm blazing through this series and even though I'm enjoying it, I still don't get why the series is so highly acclaimed. It could be just me but I really wish this books doesn't have any actions at all, the story gets better, characters are explored more but every time there's an action going on the art really made me feel detached. Even though I prefer there's no action, in this book there's a quote "it will be action packed." t ...more
Saga definitivno postaje sve intrigantnija...
Gvendolin i The Will su ovog puta neverovatno dobri! Teško je ne vezati se za neke likove! A Saga je poput GOT - upoznamo nove likove da bis ...more
I love this series so much, the characters are great and so is the world. Marko is the softest dad in the world, I love him so much. And Alana is such a fucking badass I'm shooked. The art is really beautiful too!
This wasn't my favourite volume, but I did like Sophie in this one and the inclusion of a gay couple AND Gwendolyn being bisexual. (but I wasn't jazzed on some homophobic slurs being used eh)
Also this cover is literally stunning I stared at it for 10 minutes before whispering, softly, ...more
I think this was my least-favorite so far. While it had its moments, it felt like not a whole lot happened until the end.
I think Gwendolyn looks awesome and is bad-ass, but she is also kind of one-dimensional and the jilted lover act is not my favorite. Plus, she doesn't seem very mature, she reacts without thinking. It's just annoying.
It felt like not a lot happened on Quietus besides philosophical conversations about war and family.
I really like The Will and Lying Cat.
The Brand intrigues me. ...more
